Consumer Price API - Watchatic API

The Consumer Price API is a separate, browser-safe API for the Watchatic webshop. It returns only published consumer ranges per exact calendar year and condition. Years after the current calendar year are suppressed. Market averages, samples, internal filters, source views and buy-signal data are never exposed. Elke jaar/conditiecel wordt direct uit de historische WatchCollect-data berekend. De engine gebruikt eerst listings die in de laatste 30 dagen zijn gezien. Zijn er na deduplicatie, de ingestelde Calculatorfilters en outlierfilter minder dan drie over, dan valt alleen die cel terug op 90 dagen. Ook over 90 dagen blijven minder dan drie listings expliciet insufficient_data.

Gebruik de catalogus als dynamische bron van waarheid voor alle actuele combinaties van merk, referentie en configuration_key:

Zonder brand bevat de response alle drie merken. Iedere optie bevat de beschikbare afzonderlijke kalenderjaren. Alleen gepubliceerde configuraties met een verse live snapshot staan in de lijst.

Map the webshop metafields exactly:

brand: rolex, patek or ap
reference: the canonical WatchCollect reference
configuration_key: the optional exact execution key; omit it when unused

For Audemars Piguet, send the complete official reference such as 15510ST.OO.1320ST.06. WatchCollect resolves its shorter market reference internally.

Bulk per merk

Wanneer de webshop een complete merkcache wil opbouwen, kan dat met één set-based request:

GET https://api-v2.watchcollect.com/v2/public/price-engine/v1/prices/bulk?brand=rolex

Deze response bevat dezelfde consumentenveilige jaar- en conditieranges als het endpoint voor één horloge, maar voor alle verse gepubliceerde configuraties van het gekozen merk. Bulkreads hebben een afzonderlijke limiet van 12 requests per minuut per IP met burst 3; gebruik ETag en de meegeleverde cacheheaders.

Browser access

Direct browser requests are allowed only from https://watchatic.com, https://www.watchatic.com, the interactive documentation on https://docs.watchcollect.com and explicitly configured staging origins. Origin validation is an abuse control, not cryptographic authentication. Successful reads use short HTTP caching and ETag revalidation. Respect Retry-After after a 429; hide the price module for 404; and do not show an old range after 503.
